Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Threat Intelligence Engineer and SOC Manager in overseeing the overall threat intelligence function.

  • Develop and implement strategic threat intelligence initiatives.

  • Manage threat intelligence budgets and resource allocation.

  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate threat intelligence into security operations.

  • Represent the threat intelligence team in executive-level meetings.

  • Collaborating with other teams to ensure vulnerabilities are addressed in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.

  • 7-10 years in threat intelligence or cybersecurity roles, with management experience.

  • Understanding of security concepts and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO)

  • Familiarity with network protocols and security tools (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS)

  • Network, Endpoint security and analysis(antivirus, EDR)

  • Basic understanding of malware analysis and forensics. Understanding of common attack vectors and intrusion methods.

  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity Frameworks like the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.

  • Log analysis and correlation, Familiarity with security tools and technologies (SIEM, EDR, SOAR, etc.)

  • Strategic thinking and planning skills with a strong understanding of the threat landscape and its impact on the business.

  • Excellent communication, coaching, and negotiation skills.
