Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the General Ledger team in ensuring compliance with accounting standards through accurate and timely financial reporting.

  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for P&L, financial position, and cash flow statements, ensuring rigorous accuracy and efficiency.

  • Analyze and report complex financial information to senior management and external stakeholders, providing strategic insights.

  • Oversee the monitoring of long-standing assets and liabilities, implementing corrective actions as necessary.

  • Conduct in-depth reviews of monthly account reconciliations, ensuring completeness and accuracy of all financial data.

  • Guide and evaluate the performance of team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare financial data as needed for projects and audits, ensuring comprehensive support.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in general ledger accounting or financial reporting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

  • Advanced proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.

  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards (GAAP, IFRS), and regulatory compliance.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities for effective financial data interpretation and evaluation.

  • Proven experience in conducting detailed P&L analysis, financial position assessments, and cash flow evaluations.
